PLEDGE OF ASCENSION

From the day I wake up
Past the day I become wise
I seek to life in ascension
Each day at its peak
Every moment will speak
Of its guile, its wit, its adventure

Every morning I will rise
With life in my eyes
Eager to move on with the journey
Keeping wonderment of child
Comprehending all the while
Of love, of spirit, of oneness

I will keep time alive
Exploring inside, and without
With the soul of all known
Using movement of purpose
Life is a circuit
Of self and world and dimension

To my spirit I pledge
A fullness and edge
Of the moment, the message, the lesson
It's enlightenment I seek
A glimpse, a small peak
Of the true nature and meaning of Love

Through all of my existence
I will move with persistence
Of mind, of essence, of soul
To know truth as a friend
See a universe without end
And learn respect and reverence for all life
